Armenian Caucasian Silver Dagger 19th century
The decorations of the kindjal (dagger) are silver in the Niello style. There is a stamp of Russian 84. The scabbard is wooden with a leather covering while the hilt is made of horn.The blade is double grooved.
It's very important that the tip of the ball (which is elaborate) is intact. There are many swords where this tip is broken. Because this piece represented the Tsar, when the revolution took place the traditions of the Tsarist era were destroyed.
